A Tribute to infamous Rock n Roller, Ronnie Van Zant of Lynyrd Skynyrd by Travis Austin. Van Zant is on record from adolescence to the rise of his band in saying that he wouldn't live until the age of 30...and it wasn't that he didn't want to, he just knew that 30 wasn't in the cards for him. Well, on October 20, 1977 at the age of 29 Ronnie passed away in the Lynyrd Skynyrd plane crash that took the lives of 3 band members + all crew. The band was well on its way to becoming one the the biggest in the world, and Ronnie one of the biggest frontmen- next to Mick, Paul, Ronnie and Steven. I was raised in a house hold where Ronnie Van Zant was kind of like a God, him and Johnny Cash were whom I looked up to...I hope and pray this jacket does his memory justice.
