Biography
Cassandra Scerbo - actress, singer, dancer and Vice President of Boo2Bullying.
Scerbo got her start as a series regular on the hit Freeform drama series, "Make It or Break It." The show followed a group of Olympic teen hopefuls as they trained and prepared for their day in the spotlight. Make it or Break it won the ASCAP award in 2013 for Top Television series as well as the BMI cable award amongst a slew of other nominations, majority being Teen Choice Awards.
Scerbo is widely recognized for her leading role in Nick Simon’s “Truth or Dare” which landed itself in the top 5 most viewed films on Netflix after it’s debut in October, 2018. Scerbo is also known for playing the role of Amber Pollock in Freeform’s hit original movie "Teen Spirit" (opposite Lindsey Shaw and Chris Zylka). Other roles include Star Trek: Progeny, Neil Labute's "Bench Seat”, Hot in Cleveland (opposite Betty White), 10 Things I Hate About You, Bad Judge (opposite Kate Walsh), Baby Daddy, Mary and Jane, Netflix’s Small Shots and can currently be seen in the role of Vanessa on this summer’s newest ABC Drama, Grand Hotel, executive produced by Eva Longoria.
Scerbo is also currently working on her first project as an executive producer alongside Conor Riley and Bailee Madison. A documentary promoting safer schools after the Parkland shooting at her former high school. The project is set to be released within the next month. The documentary consists of a powerful group of government officials, reputable CEO’s and psychologists joined by the narration of Scerbo herself, as well as a few other familiar faces currently being kept confidential.
Another new endeavor to add to Cassandra’s vast resume is her current co-hosting role on “Two and a Half Girls,” a podcast Scerbo put together as a creative side outlet. Less than two months in, Two And A Half Girls has been joined by Lucy Hale, Jenna Ushkowitz, Penelope Lawson, GiGi Gorgeous and Lindsey Shaw to name a few. With a variety of actors and entrepreneurs set to round off season one. Scerbo was formerly signed to Interscope/Geffen records and DIC entertainment as one of 5 girls chosen by Ron Fair for the girl group "SPG", and continues to enjoy making music to this day. Scerbo has also been dancing since age 4, including performances at the annual Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade in NYC, multiple Super Bowl halftime shows and placed 1st in the International Hip Hop Championships held in Miami, Florida.
Aside from her career as an actress, Scerbo is enrolled as an online college student at SNHU studying environmental issues, as well as studying language at the Italian Cultural Institute of Los Angeles. Cassandra has always been a lover of all charity and devotes a lot of her time to many different causes. Aside from Boo2Bullying which she serves as Vice President, some of the causes include Padres Contra el Cancer, The Thirst Project, 18 for 18 (where Scerbo has skydived 4 years in a row to raise funds and awareness towards sex trafficking), The Creative Coalition, as well as frequent visits to the Children's Hospital of Los Angeles.
